Boil water in separate pot (like a Chantal Teakettle). Always use a potholder when handling infuser unit. Always use filtered water - it tastes better and will allow the full flavor of the tea to be enjoyed. Before first use, wash in hot soapy water, rinse and dry. Dishwasher-safe. Do not use steel wool, scouring pads, oven cleaners, bleach or strong abrasive cleaners. To prevent chipping or breakage, do not drop or knock against sides of sink. Stainless steel infuser is perfect for steeping loose teas.
